Less Vibrations, Less Noise, More Power
CHALLENGE
A 2003 VW Gol, 1.8 liter engine with almost
20,000 miles was tested for compression, vibration, and noise level changes with Rewitec Surfacen Treatment.
The engine and the transmission were treated with Rewitec M2 and G5 respectively.
OUTCOME
After a few miles of driving a positive change was
perceived; the engine was stronger, and shifting
gears was smoother. After around 300 miles, the
variables were measured again with the following results:
Compression: measurements increased by 20% to 180 psi and were equal in all cylinders.
Vibration: Measuring with an oscilloscope Fluke 99B with the same placement each time,
noticeable reduction in vibration was seen. This indicates that friction has decreased
throughout the engine.

Noise: The 2 measurements below show that the level of harmonic signals move to the left. This indicates that the high frequency (high friction) components, are reduced significantly.

RESULTS
Rewitec Surface Treatement produces significant improvements in engine operation. These improvements translate into higher performance and power for the engine, cleaner combustion and exhaust, better fuel economy and less wear for a longer life of components.
